This report Mental Health in NI: Current Landscapes and Strategic Priorities builds upon the Fundamental Facts report we previously published, by acknowledging that understanding the prevalence of mental health, from wellbeing through to mental illness, in Northern Ireland is a complex task. Statistics and figures are only one piece of the puzzle, behind them are real people who need support, yet the landscape of support in NI is fragmented. This new report provides a broader overview of the historical context of mental health in NI, discussing the current policy, service and project level supports available across the lifespan for NI, highlighting good practice across the sector, while identifying where development and implementation have fallen short.
The report launch takes place on Thursday 23 April, 9.30 for 10.00 – 12.00.
If you would like to attend the conference, please RSVP to mhc.events@nigov.net
